Queenstown - First day

The night we arrived we rested for a little and we headed to a lovely pub called The Guilty which is set in an old
Court House. It had a great atmosphere but we risked the food, we weren't sure if it was going to be as good
as what we're used to in Melbourne. Boy were we wrong! we had calamari for entre and it was the BEST! and Wayne
had lamb with tabouli salad, Farrah had pasta with chicken and tomato pesto, both were awesome.

The next day we woke up to a huge breakfast buffet and we ate so much that we had to go back and nap haha.
We had a bit of a shopping day, we just explored and basically acted as tourists taking photos of everything.
For lunch we had the ferg burger, we saw a huge line and we thought it must be good! it's kinda like grilled but
10 million times better.
At that stage after exploring we realised how tiny Queenstown is, 70% of the people are foreigners. Even the
people working in the shops are young people with working visas coming from England or America etc.

In the afternoon we booked a gondola ride, dinner and haka dance at the skyline. You ride the gondola to the top
of the mountain and there is a view deck as well as a restaurant. They have activities like the luge and bungy
jumping which we were too chicken to do! so we opted for the Haka show.

Best of all, the weather has been great.

The photos are mainly from the skyline - gondola, restaurant and the haka show :)
